Inspection Stages
Symation designs and builds custom stages for inspection using camera, laser and confocal - based inspection heads. Systems can be designed with extended travel up to 650 mm (X), 650 mm (Y), and 450 mm (Z). Systems can be provided with granite bases for maximum vibration isolation. Stages utilize linear brushless motors with 0.1 micron resolution linear encoder feedback. Stages can be provided with stepper motors also. For heavy loads, a pneumatic counterbalance is provided. Systems are provided with integrated motion control and integrated with the inspection application SDK. Motion and inspection applications can be integrated into a single user interface where possible. A pendant with jogging joystick, e-stop and drive power enable are provided.
Economical tabletop inspection tables are also available with integrated motion control and inspection applications. Stage motion range is typically 24" (X), 24" (Y), 6" (Z).
